Star Wars The Force Unleashed demo is available now.

Its a 900+ MB download on Xbox Live, but hey, there’s a typhoon outside so you’re stuck inside anyways, and from the quick run through we played it looks like a “buy” when the full version is released in Hong Kong on September 17, not to mention more exciting than the last 3 movies combined.

Could this be the future of sequels? Skip the movie and go right to the game like Ghostbusters 3?

Smartone Opens Experience Store

New interactive help-store gives you more assistance than ever.

If you are having difficulty differentiating between 2G and 3G, smartphones and wi-fi, then Smartone-Vodafone will help you out with their new Experience Store just opened on Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong.

We already give props to Smartone-Vodafone for having the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff amongst the big operators (not to mention patient), that beyond price and product choice, if you aren’t sure which mobile phone to get, we suggest at least visiting one of their shops before making a final choice.

This new Experience Store sets Smartone-Vodafone apart from their competitors with 2-levels of showroom space, lots of interactive panels, sample phones, and a comfortable environment. So feel free to ask their staff a million questions about mobile phones. Just don’t ask them about the Apple iPhone, well, at least not just yet.

Imagi Unveils Gatchaman

The new CGI-film is showcased in Hong Kong.

We attended the 2007 Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum today in Hong Kong (part of the annual Filmart Expo in Hong Kong) and while it was interesting as a whole the real excitement came in the form of Imagi‘s Executive Vice President of Development Paul Wang‘s unveiling of a 2-minute trailer for their upcoming Gatchaman theatrical movie. We thought this extremely timely with their TMNT ready to explode onto worldwide screens this weekend.

We didn’t film it. Ok? Sorry! But what we saw will melt all your minds. After you see, and are blown away by, TMNT this weekend in the US (next weekend in Hong Kong) the first teen/young-adult mass market action CGI movie (and trust us, it will hit #1 this weekend but higher than Box Office Derby’s estimates. We’d wager 50% higher.) you will be “oohing” and “ahhing” over this amazing interpretation on the famous comic Turtles, but you will soil yourselves when you see what Imagi has in store for everyone’s favorite Science Ninja Team.
