‘The Spirit’ from Hot Toys

The classic crimefighter comes to life in this Hot Toys figure.

The Spirit opens on Christmas Day in the U.S.A., starring Gabriel Macht as the reincarnated crime fighter, surrounded by a bevvy of hot movie starlets fighting Sam Jackson and directed by comic book legend Frank Miller.

While Hong Kong has to wait for the movie, Hot Toys has announced this limited edition 1:6 scale version of The Spirit in their Movie Masterpiece series. Click here for more.

There is no Hong Kong release date yet, but Singapore, Indonesia and Taiwan are getting it on December 25th and most of Europe is seeing it in late January. We’ll keep you updates, although the reviews have been harsh, the visual style should appeal to fans of Sin City and Speed Racer.

The Nokia E71 vs. the E63

These 2 Nokia’s look almost the same, what you need to know before buying.

Nokia’s E71 has been quite a popular Blackberry-like mobile phone here in Hong Kong, but recently Nokia has introduced the E63 which looks almost identical. So we did some instant research to find out what the difference was.

Most importantly, the E63 is not out in the Asia market yet, but is being offered in Europe. The second most obvious difference is that since the E71 has been doing well, Nokia decided to offer a lower-priced, feature-depraved version – which is the E63.

This site holds the 2 up to see the difference, but the main points are:

• The E63 has a colored plastic shell versus the E71’s metal one. The front is a metallic-finish, whilst the back cover is a soft-touch finish – both attract far few fingerprints than the E71’s.
• The E63 is nearly identical in dimensions to the E71 except for the depth – the E63 is around 1.5 times the depth of the E71.
• The E63 has a 3.5mm jack on top versus the E71’s 2.5mm jack on the side. This appears to be the first E-series to have a standard headphone socket – something normally saved for N-series.
• The E63 has a revised keyboard layout, adding a ‘/’ button on the lower row, shortening the space bar.
• The E63 lacks internal GPS and does not support HSDPA data.
• The E63 has a 2MP camera versus the E71’s 3.2MP and has a fixed focus.

Swatch’s 007 Villains Watch Collection

Swatch has a truly inspired watch collection coming out. A 22-watch line featuring all the villains from the James Bond 007 movies called the 007 Villain Collection.

Yes all 22, from Dr. No all the way to last month’s Quantum of Solace. Check out the amazing designs here. Our favorite is pictured above – Le Chiffre played by Mads Mikkelsen, from 2006’s Casino Royale. New Puma Black Store at IFC Brings Sexy Back to Hong Kong

A brand new sleek Puma store that makes you look good on and off the court.

The new Puma Black Store is located on Level 1 of the IFC mall and carries exclusively the brand’s extensive range of designer collaboration collections.

Puma is injecting cool into sportswear with their collaborations with some of the cutting edge designers in fashion like Alexander McQueen, MIHARAYASUHIRO, Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik, Sergio Rossi and Schedoni. Store will officially open in mid December 2008 but we wanted to give you a sneak peak.
