Square Enix to taunt English-language gamers for at least 6 months.

In a non-surprising move, Square Enix has announced that the English version of their highly-anticipated Final Fantasy XIII game for the Playstation 3 will see an April 2010 OR later release date in North America, so say Reuters.
The only good news is that the game will be available on the Xbox 360 as well as the Playstation 3 which may sound blasphemous to some, but it will bring big sales for Square. With 85 million copies of Final Fantasy and 47 million copies of Dragon Quest sold, I guess they don’t need to rush perfection to the “gaijins” out there.
Hong Kong gamers will no doubt get the Chinese-translated game guide books and be enjoying the Japanese version (which is scheduled to come out in the second half of 2009) long before the Americans see it. We can all still dream about this great fan-made game box art below:

UPDATE JAN. 29: Thanks Square! We thought we could hold out until 2010, but this trailer you released today just made us decide to get the Japanese version and just figure it out ourselves:

How did he get from The Peak to Washington so quickly?

Just to show everyone in the world how much Hong Kong cares about the new president it seems that Madame Tussauds up on The Peak has already unveiled their own President Barack Obama wax statue.
Amidst the fanfare of patriotic American citizens living in Hong Kong, and under the patronage of special guests Dr Richard Vuylsteke, President, American Chamber of Commerce and Dr Dekai Wu, Vice Chair of Democrats Abroad, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong unveiled President Barack Obama’s wax figure, the newest permanent addition to the “world famous home of the famous”. Eight Barack Obama wax figures were made for Madame Tussauds, the other one in Asia being in Shanghai.
