As hardcore fans of the Grand Theft Auto series, we’re happy that with the introduction of online play there is also the extra value of downloadable content (DLC) and there hasn’t been alot of it in terms of whole new storylines. We saw it earlier last year with the Mass Effect DLC which was just a side mission to a game we already played through.

New download content ready for Liberty City early in 2009.
Rockstar Games just announced the ultimate guy’s Valentine’s Day gift: the new content pack for Grand Theft Auto 4 called The Lost and Damned will be available in February 17th, 2009. This has been promised for awhile and now with a firm release date everyone’s favorite Russian ruffian Niko can get back on the streets of Liberty City and cause some new damage on Xbox Live.
Developed by Rockstar North and set in Liberty City, The Lost and Damned features a new main character and plot that intersects with the storyline of Grand Theft Auto IV; new missions that offer an entirely fresh way to explore Liberty City with new multiplayer modes, weapons and vehicles; and a diverse soundtrack with additional music – all with the incredible production values that are the trademarks of Grand Theft Auto.
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned requires players to have the full version of Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 and Xbox LIVE membership to download.
