Long Term Evolution (LTE) is the buzzword for what is essentially 4G – next generation data transfer speeds over mobile networks – and it looks like CSL was the first to launch it in Hong Kong last week.

What does this mean to you? It means that if you didn’t buy a new mobile phone this year you will have to buy one next year for sure. And when the iPhone 5 is announced, you won’t be looking for new features, you’ll be looking to see if it can support LTE with download speeds of 100Mbit per second!

That’s right, this means you can send your Angry Birds scores to the leaderboard just that much faster!
