New disaster movie looks expensive.

The new Sony Pictures disaster movie 2012 has just released a new trailer which you can see below, watch it first then continue reading:

Looks good right? But if you aren’t familiar with the director’s name, Roland Emmerich, then you’ve definitely seen one of his previous movies The Day After Tomorrow or Independence Day, both big budget end-of-the-world type movies, but not good ones, and now the November release date (instead of this Summer) makes more sense. We’ll keep an open mind since this trailer looks amazing but we’ll definitely hold a very reserved judgment call until we see it.

What is it about the year 2012? It’s not just a made up date, it’s actually is a prophesied date which makes the movie premise seem that much scarier:
