Tom Hanks returns to fight more Christian supervillains.

Why does author Dan Brown make all his villains part of the Church? This time his hero Robert Langdon (played by a non-mullet Tom Hanks) goes after The Vatican in the sequel to The Da Vinci Code: Angels and Demons and it opens today in Hong Kong.

Fans of The Da Vinci Code will know that this story came out before Da Vinci, but features more mystery and intrigue surrounding age old mysteries. Since we read Angels and Demons we can say if you liked Da Vinci you’ll like this one. And look: Young Obi-Wan is in it too!

What we love about this movie is that there are a bunch of fansites that really follow the news and hype surrounding it. We’re tired of the Hollywood created “official site” with trailers and wallpapers, we want a more 360-degree look at the making of the movie and we recommend Angelsanddemonsmovie.org as a one stop site that you will visit before and after seeing the movie for more behind-the-scenes info.

You can see the trailer at the “official site” – below is some behind-the -scenes interviews and footage:

and an independent disection of the book:

  1. This movie was terrible. A disappointment from the creative minds behind it. Wait for the DVD or even better wait for it show for free on TV.

    I blame Dan Brown.
