Forget multi-touch, this camera takes your photo from facial gestures.

Canon Hong Kong introduced a new line of cameras that lets you take self portraits with either a wink or a smile. The new IXUS 210, IXUS 130 and IXUS 105 digital compact cameras include some nifty tech that makes taking photos just a little bit easier.
The Scene Detection Technology incorporated with the new Smart Flash Exposure intelligently adjusts flash level for different shooting conditions, eliminating uneven light exposure for great natural-looking photos. The new Smart Shutter mode now includes a “Wink Self-Timer” mode and a “Smile Self-Timer” mode, allowing perfectly-timed self-portrait and group photos to be taken effortlessly.
However Neonpunch was quite happy to stand behind the camera and take photos of the beautiful and voluptuous Gabi Endo a Japanese Brazilian Eurasian model who has a dazzling smile.

Canon’s newest entry-level DSLR shoots 18MP and HD EOS movies.

Canon’s new 18-Megapixel CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4 Digital Image Processor on the EOS 550D is out on the streets today and its a powerful camera for the price.
Shoot full HD (1920 x 1080) video with 3 selectable frame rates, the EOS 550D is equipped with a new 3-inch 1,040,000-dot Clear View LCD with an 3:2 aspect ratio facilitating Live View shooting, movie recording or image playback.

Sanyo offers two new palm-sized camcorders to Hong Kong.

Japanese Electronics giant Sanyo has released two new camcorders for the local market. Whether you’re making home movies of your bundle of joy or a wannabe film maker the new Xacti Dual Cameras will help you get the job done.
The Ultra slim VPC-CS1 can easily slip into any pocket thanks to its lightweight design (approx. 5 oz), and slim body (1.06” in thickness). It can capture Full HD videos with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels in either MPEG-4 AVC or H.264 video format. The VPC-CS1 can also take high resolution 8-megapixel images using its advanced 10x zoom to 38mm wide angle lens.

Olympus Hong Kong releases 3 tough as nails cameras

Extreme sports enthusiast who fly high and swim deep now can take photos of their daring feats with a camera that might just be tougher than them.
Olympus has released three “µ Tough” compact cameras that can go anywhere you can, be it snorkeling in Phuket or skiing down the Swiss Alps. The DS3 unleashes a new professional level camera on Hong Kong.

Nikon Hong Kong launched its latest digital SLR camera, the D3S, to a fervor of pomp and circumstance at the first floor grand ballroom of the Nobu Intercontinental Hong Kong Hotel. There to promote the launch was celebrity offspring Jennifer Tse (parents Patrick Tse and Deborah Lee, both well-known HK entertainers and younger sister to local Actor/singer Nicholas Tse), and Raymond Lam.
The photographic work of Vincent Munier was used to show off the capabilities of the new D3S in a short video. If a picture can say a thousand words, than this short below says more than enough about the D3S:
