5 Masked Rider’s show up to protect the AsiaWorld Expo.

You may think you’ve grown out of Masked Rider – but once you’ve seen the show, you never grow out of it – you just have kids so that you can still indulge in the action and excitement without looking like a middle-aged dork – at least that’s what we saw at this weekends Masked Rider Fest Hong Kong 2010 held at the AsiaWorld Expo where the dad’s were cheering louder than their kids.

Bravo Entertainment – a Hong Kong event company – wants to make sure kids and tons of 30-year olds don’t get bored during the Summer months and put together a Masked Rider festival full of costumes and props from the original Japanese show as well as blow-up playgrounds and merchandise booths all wrapped around an energetic 60-minute live show where 5 Kamen Riders duke it out right in front of the audience for the first time in Hong Kong.

November 25, 2010

Yes, we’re groaning too…

Scott Pilgrim vs The World might be the most epic of epic movies coming out this year and is opening this coming weekend in the US. But because there is no one “famous” in it, Hong Kong won’t be seeing it until November 25, 2010.

The graphic novels are available at HMV for an amazing 2 for HK$159 price so you can get all 6 for pretty cheap and read-up on it before it goes on like Donkey Kong.

Until then you can check out this very cool interactive trailer – more cool stuff to play with than a DVD special features menu!

While North America was going crazy for the Blackberry Torch yesterday, Blackberry in Hong Kong launched a white 9700.

Yes, it seems RIM wanted to make it known that they have a hipper and cooler Katy Perry-loving, daisy dukes wearing, bikinis on top Blackberry to buy in Hong Kong but if you have an internet connection you’ll probably want to have a look at the Torch first.

While we pushed for more info on the Torch – because it does look pretty sweet – and info on the new OS6 of the Blackberry operating system RIM was focused on this phone and that the Torch would be out soon with a big launch event in the next “few months.”
