Not Tokyo, not Singapore, not even Shanghai – French company Parrot chose Hong Kong as the city to launch their new wireless, iOS-device controlled quadricopter: AR.Drone.

You’ve no doubt seem the AR.Drone at CES 2010, but now its here in Hong Kong as the first city you can buy it in.

It’s such a cool toy that they really didn’t need to bring out the big guns: Chrissie Chau (guest starring Jackie Chan’s son Jaycee Chan and Marie Zhuge) to promote it.

Cowon J3: A New Portable Media Player from Korea

The J3 enters the ring at the weirdest press con ever!

COWON is a Korean electronics manufacturer that is probably best known for their Personal Media Players (PMP). Most of these devices come with a few gigs of built-in memory and some models also have SD or Micro SD memory card slots.

The device is what it is, but this might be one of the most memorable press conferences we’ve been to in recent times; for some reason the model above is dressed like a witch and the second model below was wearing a full outfit that she then somehow lost and ended up in a white bikini!

Not sure how this relates to the product, and maybe this is how gadgets are pimped in Korea(?) but we have to share the whole thing with you.
