Bose’s OE2 and OE2i headphones deliver demonstrably better audio performance than their predecessors, and feature an updated look and design. Music is reproduced with improved depth and clarity, and the new contoured styling creates a closer, more comfortable fit.

Last week Disney Hong Kong turned up the heat at Tron Media Day held at Juice in Causeway Bay. They had the store set up as a Tron Legacy showroom with the latest gear, games and gizmos to make sure everyone from every angle knows that Tron is in theatres this month.

Disney was nice enough to give us a copy of the Playstation 3 game that hasn’t shipped yet – we hope to get you a review of this game this week.

Do we need to remind you? Tron Legacy hits cinemas in Hong Kong on December 23 (it opens on the 17th in the US – don’t complain the French get it February 2, 2011) and no doubt you’ll need to book IMAX tickets ahead of time like you’ve already done for Harry Potter.

Ok so we’ve seen this hoopla in the past, is this too much hype now? We were sold on this video alone – and we’re the target audience! All this ancillary merchandising is starting to make it seem not as cool anymore. We remember how under the radar The Matrix was and how everyone was scrambling to make product after the movie was out and changing the face of film. The Disney machine would never let that happen though, and we guess we’re happy that they are so behind pushing this film but with this over-saturation the film itself may seen anti-climatic?

And is it just us, or is everything going Tron these days?

We’re sure we’re just overthinking it – see you in the line on December 23rd – first showing – we’re sure you’re skipping work to see it, we plan to go black on that day in support of the film.

For those of you looking to pimp out you computer gear than look no further than Metalware’s line of anime and comic book theme computer accessories. The computer maker has a number of digital gadgets whether you are an Otaku, Geek or Fanboy.

Before it was hard to find Metalware’s complete line of gear all in one place but now they’ve opened up their own store in downtown Tsim Sha Tsui, so if you’re looking for an Astro Boy themed keyboard, Wolverine headphones or Batman flash drive you can now get them all in one place.

On hand to open Metalware’s flagship store was none other than local uber celebrity model Chrissie Chau. To celebrate the launch Metalware put on an amazing catwalk show where Chrissie supported by a number of cute models showed off to a crowd of tech reporters and local entertainment tabloid scumbag pseudo-reporters (if you haven’t guessed we hate those douche bags) all the cool stuff that they had to offer.

To help mark the occasion Chrissie even designed a graphic theme for one of Metalware’s notebooks (autographed as well), which can be seen on display at the store along with a number of other anime and comic book memorabilia. Aside from the shopping of cool gear Neonpunch readers can also see life sized models of Iron Man and Kamen Rider next to display cases that house original drafts for classic silver age comics, near mint old collectable comics and a replica of Captain America’s Adamantium Shield.

Nope, that’s not a giant iPad.

We ran into this device at last week’s International Wine and Spirits Fair at the HKCEC covered on our sister site Winebuzz.hk but seeing what looked like a giant iPad, we of course had to take it for a spin.

Basically the Hong Kong trade Development Council are testing out this upgrade to the touchscreen kiosk that you see never used in shopping malls and office buildings around the city. This new device not only is huge but it works surprisingly well.

The giant touchscreen is highly sensitive like an iPad and very fast. Even better than the Microsoft Surface. For finding booths by name, category or country it garnered results super fast. It’s of course only as good as the database behind it and we could see areas for improvement like a walking guide from where that kiosk was to where you wanted to go and more photos of the faciities at the Convention Center – but of course these are nitpicks for something so advanced inside an exhibition hall in HK.

We couldn’t find out, but most likely it was accessing the internet not a hard drive since there were 6 of them around the show floor and there was only the slightest of lag for loading images, so it could have been a centralized database somewhere in the building feeding updates to each of the kiosks.

At around HK$60,000 each they were testing them out and getting feedback from people who played with it. We’d give it a thumbs up! It seems like those old touchscreen kiosks were created in medieval times when you compare to this.

Have you been frustrated over and over again about keeping your iWhatevers™ in your 1.0 pant pockets?

So what makes WTFJeans special? Well, it’s got an iPhone/iPod Touch micro-fiber insulated pocket that’s been cut and measured exactly right so your device doesn’t sway or bump against keys or coins like a buxom girl at a club. Whether you’re a hard-core PC gamer, professional Excel file maker, Twitter tyrant or anything in between, you likely spend hours a day in front of your computer monitor. You’ve also likely experienced the eye-strain and headaches caused by this kind of long-term exposure to the blue LED light given off by our monitors.
