Chiaki Kuriyama Trades In Her Morning Star For a Microphone

Last Saturday Chiaki Kuriyama was in Hong Kong to promote her upcoming debut single “Ryusei no Namida” (Tears of Meteors).

Kuriyama became a modern movie icon in director Quentin Tarantino’s 2004 film Kill Bill, Volume I as Gogo Yubari, the schoolgirl yakuza bodyguard of Tokyo mob mistress O-Ren Ishii.

Kuriyama’s has scored a major coup by having her first single used for the new Gundam Unicorn movie series that premieres in Japanese cinemas on February 20th. A number of artist have seen their singing careers rocket into the next galaxy thanks to the Gundam anime franchise. The Gundam Unicorn movie is based on a popular light novel series written by Harutoshi Fukui. Directing the big screen anime adaption is Furuhashi Kazuhiro who directed “Rurouni Kenshin” and “Hunter X Hunter” and many others.

World Of Warcraft Taiwan Invades Hong Kong

Taiwanese WoW sirens calls out to Hong Kong Gamers.

We’re still going through all the photos snapped at the recent Asian Game Show X Online Game Show a couple weeks back, and today we’re bringing you a bunch of photos from a party of Chinese Amazons at the World of Warcraft booth.

If you think the hottest Chinese models are only from Hong Kong, check out this bevy of beauties hailing from Taiwan and, rightly so, was quite the attention getter at the show. The four models were also accompanied by a very leggy “Mistress of Ceremonies” whose long slender legs were quite bewitching. Luckily Neonpunch was able to get some one-on-one and group shots of the lovely vixens for all our readers to thumb through at their leisure.

Jump Into Bed With Hong Kong Celebrity Models Lavina and Rainbow

Local celebrity models Lavina Chung and Rainbow Woo, who are managed by HKModelhouse, can often be seen promoting all sorts of products around Hong Kong. However, for once the pair could be seen promoting their own wares at the Asian Game Show X Online Game Show 2009 held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 24th – 27th of December.

Fans of the two local beauties can now enjoy looking at the models all year round in their bedrooms, thanks to a number of “interesting” merchandise that includes pillow cases and calendars. The complete Lavina boudoir set was available for the paltry price of HK$360 that included a pillow case, quilt cover and bed sheet. The items can also be purchased separately; the pillow case HK$120, quilt cover HK$200 and bed sheet HK$160.

Inside Hong Kong’s Asian Game Show X Online Game Show

The happiest-to-receive Christmas gift to Hong Kong gamers.

Even though we’ve passed Christmas, we’re still unwrapping more photos and coverage from the annual Asian Game Show X Online Game Show (December 24-26).

At the yearly event, tens of thousands of local gamers descend upon the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre to play and buy games. Due to last year’s poor attendance, AGS organizers decided to team up with the Online Game Show in the hope that more people would be drawn to the double bill event.

Canto Pop idol and spokesmodel for the event, Joey Yung (容祖兒), was on hand at the AGS X OGS to start proceedings, in what looked like a cyber samurai outfit! Weilding a katanna, Joey posed for the paparrazi while screaming fans swooned behind the metal barricades.
