Sony gives local media and dealers sneak peak at their latest DSLR.

Sony Hong Kong recently unveiled its first ultra-compact, interchangeable lens system digital cameras, the NEX-5 and NEX-3 to a packed Sheraton ballroom of reporters and dealers. The cameras not due out in Hong Kong until the end of June, have already garnered a lot of interest.

Samsung steps up in the 3D TV market with huge product line.

Like the Toruk Makto in Avatar, Samsung has jumped on their flying dragon with an aggressive launch of 3D HD LCD TV’s in Hong Kong. Slapping movie theatres in the face so fast, the can now speak the Na’vi dialect fluently.

Sanyo offers two new palm-sized camcorders to Hong Kong.

Japanese Electronics giant Sanyo has released two new camcorders for the local market. Whether you’re making home movies of your bundle of joy or a wannabe film maker the new Xacti Dual Cameras will help you get the job done.
The Ultra slim VPC-CS1 can easily slip into any pocket thanks to its lightweight design (approx. 5 oz), and slim body (1.06” in thickness). It can capture Full HD videos with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels in either MPEG-4 AVC or H.264 video format. The VPC-CS1 can also take high resolution 8-megapixel images using its advanced 10x zoom to 38mm wide angle lens.
