Toshiba is throwing its hat into the iRing with their smartphone the TG01. It has a really big 4.1 inch, 480×800 pixel screen, 3G, 9.9 mm thick – see the full specs here. We’re sure that anyone with an iPhone can tell you that 80% of the fun comes from the App Store, something this doesn’t have – but then again maybe gaming isn’t your thing and you want to just just rip your own CD’s and DVD’s and carry those around.
Sweet! Until we read it came with “Windows Mobile.” Hands on photos and video here. Sounds like its going to hit Europe first in the Summer. No price has been determined yet.

If you are a Capcom fan, 2009 is going to be a great year: Street Fighter 4 comes to Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows in English in less than 2 weeks. The Japanese version will be out on Feb. 12th and Feb. 17th in English. Enjoy the Japanese-version video above as a sneak peek of what to expect.

First up, have a look at the video above – this newest version of Microsoft’s browser is doing some cool stuff. Is Ballmer and Co. bringing their A-Game this year? Windows 7 is in beta right now (download it here) and its getting some good reviews, this IE8 looks cool and in 2 weeks we’ll see if the new Windows Mobile can take on the other smartphone operating systems.
2009 is going to be very interesting for Microsoft.
