There were some robots in this movie we think.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley Review: Transformers: Dark of the Moon

In Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee return to the big screen for another action packed film that will see the Autobots and the Decepticons face off for a third and final..blah, blah, blah – we got suckered into seeing a Transformers movie for the third time because of the female lead – this time its Victoria Secret’s model Rosie Hunington-Whiteley (pictured above instead of some robots) – and yes that marketing worked.

The new Transformers movie opens today in 3D IMAX, 3D and plain old regular 2D across Hong Kong. If you haven’t booked your tickets yet you might want to (or not) after reading our in-depth review of this latest robot rumble – so spoilers ahead:

green lantern movie poster Review: Green Lantern

So instead of doing an X-Men 4 with a costly cast, the filmmakers decide to do a Phantom Menace and start from the beginning of the X-Men story with Thursday’s opening of X-Men First Class in Hong Kong.

As a reader of Neonpunch you know we look at movies in a very differently way than traditional movie reviews so even though you may have heard the good buzz on the film online – we’re here to tell you differently.

We were very excited to see X-Men First Class as we loved the 3 original films, yes even the 3rd one (but not X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and with Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn leading 2 of our favorite Irish and Scottish actors respectively; Michael Fassbender who was glorious in Inglorious Basterds and James McAvoy as a pre-crippled Charles Xavier – it should be a good time at the cinema.
