Playstation Move Shakes Up Hong Kong with Launch Games and Starter Packs

Monday. 2 August. 2010. 10:14 am

More info from Sony’s new PS3 device.

Following up on this earlier post here are more details on the Playstation Move launch in Hong Kong.

We loved playing archery on Sports Champions but without a doubt the best game was Kung Fu Rider – where you play an insane office worker riding an office chair around the streets of Hong Kong kung-fu kicking people as you ride by them.

Its definitely going to be a fun add-on to your PS3, but we’ll hold judgement on buying a P3S for it until we see the Kinect. Definitely better graphics than the Nintendo Wii and you can watch your Blu-ray movies when you get tired.

Video, photos and prices are below:

Belkin Mini DisplayPort Converter Lets You Play Console Games On Your iMac

Tuesday. 29 June. 2010. 11:11 am

This neat adapter allows you to view HD content on your iMac

Got an iMac? Then you should definitely consider buying this Mini DisplayPort Converter for 27”iMac from Belkin. This adapter takes an HDMI input at up to 1080p and squeezes it into a Mini DisplayPort connector at 720p for display, letting you enjoy graphics from your Sony PS3 or Xbox 360 on your lovely iMac. Audio signal is also split for stereo-out and it’s HDCP-compliant.

This device will require you to fork out US$150/HK$1170, which is an awful lot for a converter box with a single input. But in Hong Kong apartments it makes a world of sense if you want to keep all your toys together in your study and for you alone to play with! Bwa-hahahaha!

Ahem, yes well, there you have it. More info here.

But its been a busy week – so here are a bunch of things that we liked/loved/loathed from the show floor at E3 2010:
