We’ve had a week now to decompress from SXSWi 2011 and wanted to close it up with this post that rounded up all of our coverage of the interactive portion of the conference.

Outside of CES, the SXSW show is the software to that hardware – the conference where all the brightest developers and marketers come together to learn new stuff, show off their wares and network with people from around the world.

We brought you photos and video from the iPad 2 launch at the Apple pop-up shop in Austin, Texas last week – and now we take you inside for a tour.

Visiting a regular Apple store in North America (or any country for that matter) is already quite an experience – so you can imagine that the excitement level has been dialed to “11″ with the iPad 2. Apple decided to open a special 1-week only store during one of the biggest interactive conferences of the year: South by Southwest Interactive.

This is it: the final day at SXSWi 2011! 5 crazy filled days of the very best interactive stuff from around the world has come to and end in Austin, Texas to make way for the next phase of the conference: music and film.

But before we sign-off we promised you the second part of our tour around the trade show portion of the conference. You can see Part 1 here.

The trade show brought out companies from around the world – and in this part of the photo gallery you’ll see representation from Germany, UK, Australia, Canada, Singapore and even Japan (brave souls who left after the earthquake) although no sign of China or Hong Kong.

But what we did see ranged from a Matrix bullet-time camera booth, lots of new iPad and iPhone apps and the first dual-screen, foldable Android tablet.

As we come into the homestretch for this year’s SXSWi, a panel-filled day started very early this morning and moved all the way till the early evening with great talks on iPhone design, transmedia storytelling, start-ups and so much more.

But we found ourselves extremely moved by Gary Vaynerchuk’s amazingly uplifting keynote today. Even with one more day we’ll even go so far to say that it was the best keynote of the entire SXSWi 2011 event!

The man from WineLibrary.TV and Crush It brings out his new book The Thank You Economy and the most shocking news: the current 1000th episode of WineLibrary.TV is his last!

Today is the first day that the main trade show exhibition show opened at SXSW and we’ve been dying to get inside to have a look – it looks to be twice as big as last year, and there was a lot of neat booths and tech companies showcasing so we have to break this into two posts.
