LG’s environmental aspirations are demonstrated in the LG GD510’s solar-battery cover that uses the power of the sun to charge the phone. In addition to saving energy during the day, this also benefits users who are running low on power and are away from a charger at the time. 10 minutes under the sun provides up to 2 minutes of talk time or up to 180 minutes of standby time. Features like Eco-tree and Eco-calculator under the phone’s CO2 menu allow people to track how much they have reduced CO2 emissions by using the solar cell battery. Makes you feel good already about helping the environment, don’t it?

The GD 510 also play music and movies in several popular file formats. The easy-to-use browser brings all the best mobile content to the device’s large screen and a 3.0 megapixel camera captures high quality photos and videos for sharing online or sending wirelessly to friends.

The spacious 3-inch WQVGA touch screen extends almost to the edges of the LG GD510 with a narrow 4.8 mm bezel giving the illusion of an uninterrupted sheet of glass. The unit’s sleek design is accented by a single button on the face that functions as the menu, end and cancel keys, depending on the phone’s mode. A slim strip of light around the button shines either green or red to indicate the handset’s function. LG-GD910 Watch Phone
The world of science fiction becomes reality again when LG unveiled a Dick Tracy inspired watch phone that includes touch screen capabilities along with 3G Video Telephony (VT) service and GSM Quad band Network capabilities.

This chic, wearable phone is a follow-up to the prototype that LG introduced at CES 2008 and includes a number of upgrades, including a full touch screen interface, 3G capabilities and video calling.

The Watch Phone has a curved tempered glass face, high quality metal casing and is a mere 13.9mm thick. It is the first touch watch phone in the world to feature 7.2 Mbps 3G HSDPA compatibility, enabling high-speed data transmission and video phone calls using the built-in camera. The phone is fully capable of sending text messages, making phone calls, and, of course, keeping accurate time. This is all achieved using the phone’s touch screen interface on its 3.63cm (1.43-inch) screen and LG’s intuitive Flash Interface.

Voice recognition features, which can be used with or without a Bluetooth headset, make it easier to place calls and look up contacts. Text to Speech (TTS) reads text messages and other information out loud for even greater convenience. The phone also includes stereo Bluetooth and a built-in speaker for playing back music files. A large phonebook and scheduler help with organization.
