Metal Gear Solid Touch Scheduled to Release Today

Solid Snake returns to gaming on the iPhone!

If you’re a Metal Gear Solid fan and own an iPhone, you’ve probably been waiting for this game for a long time. Well, you no longer have to wait! Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Touch is coming out today!

This game will be based on the characters and storyline of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. When you get the game on Thursday, it will come with 8 stages. However, don’t worry, as more stages will be available down the road as updates.

Advanced multi-touch controls will be available at your disposal to activate special features such as sniper zoom. Also, it’s confirmed that your character will be controlled with a touch pad rather than the accelerometer. By collecting “points” in the game, you’ll also be able to access a shop where you can purchase things like Metal Gear Solid wallpapers.
