The last time we saw Freddy Krueger on the big screen was in 2003, so by now you are psyched to see him return in the new A Nightmare on Elm Street – from producer Michael “Transformers” Bay.

Warner Bros. Hong Kong is bringing the horror legend back to cinemas on Thursday, May 20th – but for a few of you, you will be checking it out early on May 18th at a special sneak preview at Festival Walk.

We’re giving away 10 pairs of tickets to a special advance screening of A Nightmare on Elm Street in AMC Festival Walk on May 18th at 9:50pm to lucky Neonpunch.com readers.

The new film stars Jackie Earle Haley – and a bunch of teenagers who will all most likely be his victims – as one of the most legendary movie characters of all time: Freddy Krueger. And since its been a while since we’ve seen Mr. Scarypants on the big screen this one starts from the beginning and shows you why you shouldn’t fall asleep when a man with a melted face and a striped sweater starts showing up in your dreams.

We’ll pick 10 winners by random from answers posted in the comments below: Which is your favorite A Nightmare on Elm Street movie and WHY?

To jog your memory and get you into a frame of mind to see the new film – here are the trailers to all EIGHT of the original films:

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET PART 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE (1985)

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS (1987)

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER (1988)

  1. The original and the second Freddy films were by far the best. The second shaded it. After that the joke was told too many times.
