Shoot It! Turns iPhone Photos into Postcards
Don’t just send a photo, send a postcard.

You know that feeling when on holiday looking at the spinner racks of travel postcards, you just can’t find a more personable one other than the typical shots of the Eiffel Tower?
Well we stumbled on a great iPhone app which will give freedom to your very own personal holiday photos – Shoot it!. Shoot it is a 99 cents iPhone application that allows you to take pics from your iPhone’s camera and use it to make an actual glossy postcard which you can then send to someone – great for people on the move that want to send a more customized postcard love than the ones found on The Peak. Dvice had this to say:
“We first balked at the $.99 price of this application, especially since it’s basically a front end for selling mailed postcards, but we were soon reassured when we learned the $0.99 price would be applied toward our first postcard. To use it, you launch the Shoot It! application, snap a picture or choose one from your library, type a postcard message and the address of the recipient, and after a minute, it’s on its way.
If you want anymore pictures other than the “free” first postcard, you’ll have to register at the website and supply a credit card which will automatically deduct payments every time you send a new post card. Download it here.
If you are against hurting any more trees then we suggest this Freeverse app – Postman – that sends virtual postcards made out of your photos but sent via email, Twitter or Facebook.
