Remember this phone? What was it called again…?

We’re sure you haven’t forgot about this phone. Originally called the Idou, it now has an official name: Satio. If you haven’t already, go read our original post on the Idou for a preview on just how amazing this phone is.

We’ll go out on a limb and call Satio the real iPhone killer. This phone really packs in some of the most ridiculous things we’ve ever heard of. For one, it has a TWELVE mega-pixel camera. That is even more than half of the digital cameras out there! The camera also packs in a Xenon flash, so you won’t be missing a thing in the middle of the night like traditional LED flashes. Also, it runs on the new Symbian Foundation O/S, of which you can get thousands of apps for it online. Furthermore, it greets you with an amazing 3.5″ 640×360 touch-screen display.

Take a look at the specs:

  • Network: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA 850/1900/2100
  • Form Factor: Smartphone/Candybar
  • Display: 3.5″ touchscreen display, 640×360
  • Operating System: Symbian S60 5th Edition
  • Camera: 12.1 mega-pixel, Xenon flash, 12x digital zoom, autofocus, face-detection,  video light, image stabilizer
  • Memory: 128MB internal, 8GB MicroSD card included, expandable up to 16GB with Micro SDHC cards
  • Misc: A-GPS with turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth, accelerometer, gesture control, FM radio with RDS, WiFi

This phone will release around the same time as the Aino: around Q4 this year. Also, no price has been announced yet either. Here is the official website for this phone.
