This app, hands down, is Neonpunch’s #1 application for the iPhone. As the name suggests, it’s an app for note-taking. Evernote is a must-get for anyone that owns an iPhone and actually uses its amazing applications. With this app, you can jot down plain text notes, clip entire websites, take pictures with the camera, and even make audio recordings. When you’re done, this app will automatically save it for later use. When you get home, you can sync everything into other devices like your computer. You can then tag your pictures, and organize all your notes in any way you want! If you ever need to find a note you took earlier, just use the built-in search and filter features! Overall, we were very pleased with this app!

Best of all, this app is free from the App Store! You can visit the Evernote home page here.

Using Facebook and other social networking sites is now easy and fun with all new panels of Xperia X1 offered by Sony Ericsson. Uploading photos in Facebook can now be done in a jiffy. You can also enjoy one-touch access to your friends’ list, phone numbers, photos and present status.

These panels are available with the Dashwire connectivity, which syncs the phone with the web. We can all agree that the word “panel” is just a Sony Ericsson’s way of saying “app” or “widget.” Yes we were confused on reading this new term too.

Sony Ericsson has collaborated with Microsoft to launch the Xperia X1 with the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system. You can sync the contents of your phone to the web and can also use Hotmail and Live Messenger easily. Enjoy Windows Live Search services that are activated and controlled with voice recognition technology.

All you need to do is to download the Dashwire, Facebook and Windows Live panels using either the in-built downloader or through Sony Ericsson website for free.

Sony-Ericsson is also inviting entries from mobile application developers for creating new unique panel features that make the phone more users friendly.
