Tron Legacy Gets the Hot Toys High-End Collectibles Treatment

We posted last week about the huge amount of Tron Legacy merchandise on its way in right now – but we forgot to mention Hong Kong’s own Hot Toys who is also getting into the Tron spirit and are starting to show off their Tron Legacy collectible figures.

They released images of the Sam Flynn figure with lightcycle a few weeks ago and they’ve just released images of Daddy Flynn himself in Zen Samurai attire.

These 12-inch figures include amazing detail and are set for release by the time Tron Legacy hits Blu-ray in the middle of 2011.

As we posted earlier, Hong Kong’s Hot Toys is having an Iron Man CollARTible Expo at the Miramar Shopping Mall – giving their Mark III Iron Man figure to a bunch of the hottest toy designers working today and getting amazingly crazy one-of-a-kind designs back.

Hot Toys Presents Iron Man CollARTible Expo in Hong Kong

Tony Stark gets his Hong Kong make-over.

It’s almost here! Iron Man 2 – the sequel to one of the greatest superhero movies ever made, and as we prepare to go into Iron Man overdrive here at Neonpunch.com – it seems so is Hong Kong as well. Hot Toys takes their 1/6th on the Tim Burton rocket to Mars!

Hot Toys is bringing Tim Burton’s 1996 movie Mars Attacks to life in their 1/6th MMS line. The Martian Ambassador and Martian Soldier are the 2 main figures they are doing:

• Standing approximately 10 inches tall
• Bendable figure body with over 13 points of articulation
• Movie accurate costumes
• Movable eyes and jaw
• Extendable tongue Ray gun
• Collectible figure stand featuring Mars Attacks! movie logo
