Forget the English version of Final Fantasy XIII, this is the game for March 2010: God of War III for the Playstation 3 is coming on March 16th for HK$388.
You’ve no doubt played the intensely gory demo on the Playstation Network, so now its time to see how much further than gouging out Cyclops’ eyes this game goes. Hard to believe this is the fifth and final chapter in the current story arc, chronologically after God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War, God of War: Betrayal, and God of War II. God of War III, thankfully (and obviously), will not be the last God of War game of the series.

At a press conference held at iSquare, Electronic Arts Hong Kong officially unveiled to the local media their newest hottest game for the Year of the Tiger: Dante’s Inferno.

Sony just announced a special Final Fantasy XIII Playstation 3 slim bundle called the Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Edition and will be available in Japan on December 17, 2009.
The bundle pack will include the PlayStation 3 and Final Fantasty XIII for a limited time at a recommended retail price of 41,600 yen.
The PS3 system, bundled with FF XIII, comes in a new Ceramic White color with the game’s heroine, “Lightning,” printed on the surface of the system. This limited model will offer all of the features and functionalities of the latest PS3, with the bigger 250GB storage hard disk drive.
Yes, we’re sorry if you bought the new black one already and specifically to await the new FFXIII game but you knew something like this was coming. No word on if this is officially going to be available in Hong Kong or if you’ll need to get it off the grey market.

The Japanese version of the long anticipated game hits first.
Square Enix have finally announced the release date for Final Fantasy XII: December 17th for the Japanese version and exclusively on the Playstation 3. The English version will hit shelves in much later in Spring 2010 but will also be available on the Xbox360:
“Final Fantasy XIII” will sell for 9,240 yen (US$100) in Japan, Square Enix said.
Sony and Microsoft are hoping that the launches of long-awaited game titles such as “Final Fantasy XIII” will help drive sales of their game consoles, which are running behind Nintendo Co Ltd’s Wii.
Sales of the “Final Fantasy” series have easily outstripped the 55.5 million units sold of Konami Corp’s “Pro Evolution Soccer” series and the 41 million units of Capcom Co Ltd’s “Resident Evil” horror titles.
Plenty of time for the Japanese to upload complete walkthroughs on YouTube for us English speakers, but die-hard Hong Kong gamers will just use Chinese/Japanese translated manuals to get through the game because really, how can you live knowing that FF13 is out and you would have to wait 4-6 months to play it.
Fans line-up in the midnight heat to be the first to get the PS3 Slim in HK
Sony Hong Kong officially launched the new Playstation 3 Slim at midnight on September 1 in Causeway Bay to “World’s First” PS3 Slim buyers, some lining up since Sunday night to make sure they were the first to get the new slick version of Sony’s Playstation gaming console.
