The weather outside is kind of frightful (mild) but the scenery at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Wan Chai is quite delightful. If you are all alone this Christmas weekend then you can get yourself a big bowl of Christmas cheer at this year’s Asian Game Show.

Three cosplay models helped Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong host the media preview of their annual Asian Game Show that is being held in Hall 5 F at the HKCEC.

Coming out dressed as game characters DaDa Chan (Hong Kong), Aya K. (Japan) and Xiao Yu (Taiwan) welcomed the international media by posing for photos and wowing us with their Sing Star & Dance gaming prowess. The girls could only be seen yesterday and unfortunately AGS attendees today will not be able to see them, however Neonpunch took enough photos for you so that you won’t feel totally left out.

More info from Sony’s new PS3 device.

Following up on this earlier post here are more details on the Playstation Move launch in Hong Kong.

We loved playing archery on Sports Champions but without a doubt the best game was Kung Fu Rider – where you play an insane office worker riding an office chair around the streets of Hong Kong kung-fu kicking people as you ride by them.

Its definitely going to be a fun add-on to your PS3, but we’ll hold judgement on buying a P3S for it until we see the Kinect. Definitely better graphics than the Nintendo Wii and you can watch your Blu-ray movies when you get tired.

Video, photos and prices are below:

On the road many days out of the year? Feel like you are neglecting your Xbox? Hate reading tweets from your friends declaring that they are almost finished Red Dead Redemption? Then here’s the answer to your prayers: GAEMS Portable Console Gaming and Entertainment system.

It’s a protective suitcase that securely holds your Xbox, making you look like an CSI agent, instead of a geeky road warrior. The GAEMS suitcase carries a 15-inch, 720p LCD in the lid, and “a whole mess of speakers”. Flip open your console and you’re good to go.

The Wait is Over: God of War III Desecrates Hong Kong

March 16, 2010

On Tuesday all our prayers will be answered.

godofwar3 The Wait is Over: God of War III Desecrates Hong Kong

Forget the English version of Final Fantasy XIII, this is the game for March 2010: God of War III for the Playstation 3 is coming on March 16th for HK$388.

You’ve no doubt played the intensely gory demo on the Playstation Network, so now its time to see how much further than gouging out Cyclops’ eyes this game goes. Hard to believe this is the fifth and final chapter in the current story arc, chronologically after God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War, God of War: Betrayal, and God of War II. God of War III, thankfully (and obviously), will not be the last God of War game of the series.

Machinima.com gave it 10/10 already! So with this kind of early buzz and the legions of fans who’ve been waiting for this new installment, if Facebook and Twitter get quiet for awhile, you’ll know where all your friends!
