The Big S tries it again with 2 new models of the Galaxy Tab.

Continuing the gambling metaphors it looks like Samsung Hong Kong has pulled a triple 7 with the release of their Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus. Both tablets use Android 3.2 (Honeycomb); and while the devices have the same specifications in most areas, there are major differences between the two.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is powered by a 1.4 GHz Dual Core Processor and sports a 7.7 inch Color SUPER AMOLED Plus full touch display, and comes with a slightly large battery 5100mAh. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor; has a 7 inch Color PLS full touch display, and a 4000mAh battery.

Just what everybody loves to do “Super Size it!”

Samsung Hong Kong has released the Galaxy Note a supersized smartphone that features a 5.3″ HD Super AMOLED display; a 1.4GHz Dual Core Processor, running Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS.
The Galaxy Note may sport a very large screen but that’s not its major feature; what makes this new smartphone standout is the stylus input functions called S Pen. An Android device with a stylus input function was first seen on the HTC Flier; a tablet device that was released at the beginning of this year that unfortunately failed to properly capitalize on the function. Samsung has taken those functions and have expanded upon and improved them; the S Pen delivers a set of pen tools that are much better and offers a variety of options that enables users to freely capture and create ideas anywhere and everywhere.

A “super sized” Galaxy Tab added to Samsung’s menu.

On Wednesday Samsung Hong Kong launched their new tablet device the Galaxy Tab 10.1 at an over-crowded venue that had technology reporters standing as far as outside the front doors of SML on the eleventh floor of Times Square. The event was a little more low-key in comparison to the 7 inch Tab launch of last year. On had to help launch the new bigger 10.1 Tab was local celebrity MC Jin.

A new entrant to the Digital Single Lens Reflex market emerges.

While its big news that Samsung has decided to throw it’s hat into the Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera arena, Neonpunch is a little confused on what’s its name is. The new DSLR was introduced to the Hong Kong media by Samsung as the NX10 but on Samsung’s Hong Kong website it’s called the GX-20. Now since this is Samsung’s first DSLR ever to go on the market we can’t have mixed things up or gotten it wrong.

A picture is worth a 1,000 words now Samsung multiplies it by 6,000.
Samsung Hong Kong has released two new digital frames the 800P and 1000P that don’t just show off your latest photos but also serves as a mini digital entertainment hub.
The P Series of digital frames can store 6,000 photos in the device’s 2GB internal memory, and even more in various external memory devices such as SD and SDHC cards. The device’s auto-resize function automatically optimises photos for the screen so users are spared the hassle of adjusting each image manually. The frame can be set to display photos in five different slideshow modes with special transition effects. Other useful features on the P Series include a smart clock and calendar as well as a multimedia player that is compatible with music and video files.
