An Xperia running Android may be Sony Ericsson’s nicest smartphone yet.
Sony Ericsson’s first shot at an Android phone feels like it’s been a long time coming – but that time has finally arrived. Yes people, say hello to Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X10i. It comes with great design, eye-pleasing interface and accurate integration of social networks and services.
The Xperia X10 is perhaps the most promising of Sony Ericsson’s confusing crop of modern smartphones, combining attractive hardware with killer specs, Android, and an intriguing custom skin. Running on an all-powerful 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, the Sony Ericsson X10i is big and making up the majority of the phone is a 4-inch touchscreen (sadly not OLED, but looking pretty vivid nonetheless).
We are carrying this new phone in the Neonpunch Shop. The Extra Man mobile site brings Fifa to your mobile phone.
Ever sit at a football game and think that you need more to do? That you wish you could be multitasking by watching videos and watching the game at the same time? Or perhaps the stadium food just isn’t up to snuff. Sony Ericsson has finally answered your call with the launch of the Extra Man website which will be:
“the home for all fan content needs, will host WorldCupedia, the world’s very first football focused search engine with content accessed through Kosmix. This impressive new application will arm fans with all the football knowledge they could ever need. The site will also let fans view highlights from FIFA World Cup qualifier matches, iconic moments from past tournaments and enjoy exclusive football content and football mobile downloads. From Canada to Australia, Russia to the UK, Sony Ericsson will ensure football followers can experience the very best moments of past FIFA World Cups at their fingertips.”
They envision that while you’re pre-gaming you can use a Sony Ericsson handset to check previous games, and important videos so that you’re caught up for every moment of FIFA pleasure.
The site is currently live now and it looks really good, even giving you the option of choosing your favorite team.
