Always trust your gut feeling, we say.
Green Lantern takes a highly imaginative character and mythology, not to mention one of Hollywood’s funniest and charming leading men, and turns both into a mishmash of nothingness.

Here’s your sneak peek at the Emerald Gladiator’s feature film debut.

Warner Bros invited us out to see a preview of their Summer tentpole Green Lantern today – it was 30 minutes in 2D and an extended trailer in 3D. And while, we, along with most other superhero movie geeks have scoffed at what’s been released so far, this preview has us very, very excited – as far as to say this could be THE superhero movie of the Summer.

Will this new trailer save the Emerald Gladiator at the Box Office?

Although we’ve been against everything that Warner Bros. has released so far on the new Green Lantern movie – even though we’re huge comic book fanboys – this new 4-minute trailer is showing us more of the style they are going for with their superhero Summer blockbuster.
But from this new footage – like Iron Man – the key to its success is not in the special effects, the source material or the story – it’s going to come down to one person: Ryan Reynolds.

Our most anticipated film of 2011 is here in 7 weeks!

From the director that brought us 300 and Watchmen comes a film where he shows us what he can do without any comics to hold his imgaination back. The director is Zack Snyder and the film is Sucker Punch – opening in Hong Kong on March 31.
Warner Bros Hong Kong sent us a copy of the unreleased book Sucker Punch: The Art of the Film – and to fanboys like us, its the closest thing to the film as we want to get right now. We’re happy with the trailer for now and don’t want any more spoilers, but this book, due out later this month, gives us a look at his thought process while developing the film.
